Thoughts at the moment...

As we speak I am currently sitting in the mani/pedi room at our local day spa.

The attendant is quite the chatty Kathy.

Her name is Kristi.

Kristi G.

She has talked nonstop stop since she began.

I know that she is Thai & Caucasian.

She has a son named Jaden who was 7 lbs 4 oz when he was born and just had a birthday at the beginning of the month.

She is no longer with Jaden's father.

She lives with her mom.

They go to Thailand every other year.

They are going to a Halloween event tonight.

Jaden will be dressed as a monkey.

Kristi graduated from the same high school as me, just a year later.

Mom's phone rang.

I talk.

Mom talks.

Call is over.

Kristi: Oh who was that?

She has asked where we live, what we do, if I'm dating, why I'm not dating, who my brother is, what he and his wife do.

We have been here for over an hour.

I should've sat in the car.

She is now talking about the death of MJ.

"He was strange.... Such an innocent person."

Kill. Me. Now.

Sweet fresh minty baby Jesus in a mahogany manger.

I would almost contemplate getting a waxing, but I'm sure if she was doing it she'd talk my head off.  But as of yet I have not lost my sanity and gotten on the table like Melonie.

I think... I think I see the light at the end of the tunnel.

"No no Mel! Don't go into the light. The light is bad!"
