Why God?
Sometimes I sit & wonder why certain things happen. In hs I wondered why I didnt get the Teaching Fellows scholarship. I wonder why God allows some people to survive certain things & allows others to die from it. Why people don't get things they strive for or why people are the way they are. Then I realized that he allows those things to happen because there is a lesson He wants us to learn from the situations. We may not learn them right then but we look back on the situation & learn valable lessons that we couldn't learn any other way. We probably could have learned them long ago but we were too busy doing our own thing, ignoring the still small voice of the Lord. Maybe sometimes we should just be still & listen so we can learn beforehand & not in retrospect.

to learn in retrospect is to experience it to actually know it's a mistake. that's why we don't know beforehand. it's not that God wants us to suffer or to hurt. but it's our own free will & curiosity that overrides his direction. we want to know push it to the limit to see how far we can go. how many apples we can devour before something bad happens. God knows from beginning to end. we know from beginning to right now. our foresight is limited, therefore the room for mistakes us unlimited.
